Cricketer Virat Kohli seems to be becoming the new victim of deepfake. A video related to him is promoting betting apps. It is being claimed that Virat Kohli earned profit by investing money in betting.

This video is being shared on all social media platforms. In the video, the anchor of a famous channel is telling how she earned profit from Virat Kohli by investing money in a betting app. Quoting the anchor, it is claimed that Virat Kohli earned Rs 1,000 to Rs 81,000 in three days. Then the betting app is promoted by showing Virat Kohli in the same video.

The special thing is that the entire video has been prepared in such a way that it has actually been broadcast on a news channel. Although this is not the truth. Both the anchor and cricketer Virat Kohli seen in the video have been created through deepfakes. But his body language and lip service are such that the common man gets deceived.

However, on looking very carefully, it becomes clear that the kind of words Virat is using is written Hindi. Even Hindi speaking people do not use words like that in common conversation.
