Participation of private players in the space sector is increasing. American company SpaceX has been the most successful so far. Its rocket is taking astronauts to the space station. SpaceX has also tested the world’s heaviest rocket ‘Starship’, which can take astronauts to Mars in the future. The company has taken a long time to reach this point and has seen many failures. On Wednesday, a Japanese company also fell victim to a similar failure. The rocket of a company named Space One exploded shortly after launch. Its footage has also arrived.

Tokyo-based startup Space One was trying to become the first Japanese firm to launch a satellite into orbit. It launched the 18-meter solid-fuel Kairos rocket from its launch pad in Wakayama, western Japan. A small government test satellite was also sent with the rocket.

According to NDTV report, seconds after launch the rocket burst into flames and black smoke filled the launch pad area. As the sprinklers sprayed water, burning debris was seen falling on the surrounding mountains. In a statement after the incident, Space One said that as soon as the Kairos rocket was launched, we decided to cancel it. At present the entire incident is being investigated.

Japan’s hopes have been dealt a blow by this failure. Countries around the world are bringing private companies forward to move ahead in the satellite launch market, but after the failure of the first rocket, Space One will have to work again.
It was expected that the Kairos rocket would send the satellite into space 51 minutes after launching, but this did not happen. Space One was launched in the year 2018. Canon Electronics, ISI Aerospace, a construction firm and the Development Bank of Japan were involved in starting it.
