New Delhi from Space: International Space Station (ISS) is the second home of astronauts 400 kilometers above the Earth. This time NASA has shown the night view of 4 big cities of the world. It can be seen from Chile’s Santiago to Shanghai and India’s capital Delhi.

The pictures show glowing cities at night. Compared to other cities, Delhi appears brighter and bathed in yellow light. By looking at the picture it can be estimated how dense the population of the capital is.

While sharing the pictures on Instagram, NASA wrote the caption, Grid-like patterns and a network of roads are visible in the lights of cities around the world seen from the station. The pictures shared a day ago have received 72 thousand 600 likes so far. Social media users are liking the pictures. One user wrote, my Delhi is looking very beautiful. Another user wrote, Shanghai seems more organized. Delhi looks just like Delhi is.

ISS takes pictures of every country over which it passes. It is present in the low-Earth orbit, i.e. the lower orbit of the Earth, 400 kilometers above the Earth. In this, a team of astronauts from America, Russia and their allied countries is always deployed and completes space related experiments. The International Space Station revolves around the Earth at a speed of approximately 7.6 kilometers per second. During this time it revolves around the Earth 16 times in 24 hours.
