The name of the first asteroid coming close to the Earth today is – Asteroid 2024 CE7. According to NASA JPL, when it comes close to the Earth, the distance between the two will be 52 lakh kilometers. 2024 CE7 is moving very fast. Its speed is 69 thousand 645 kilometers per hour.
Apart from this, Asteroid 2024 CC7 is also coming closer to the Earth today. The names of both asteroids indicate that they were discovered this year and they have never come close to the Earth before.
Because the size of both the asteroids is small, they will not cause any harm to the Earth. However, scientists will monitor them until they go far away from the Earth. If the direction of the asteroid changes and it collides with the Earth, it can cause great devastation.
