Sakshi Malik had opened a front against former Indian Wrestling Association president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, accusing him of sexual harassment.
America’s Time magazine has considered Indian wrestler Sakshi Malik as an influential figure in the list of icons. The magazine has announced the names of the top 100 celebrities. Apart from Sakshi Malik, the names of Indian actor Alia Bhatt, World Bank President Ajay Banga, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and actor-director Dev Patel are included in this.
Sakshi is the only wrestler from Haryana to get name in the magazine.
