Team India captain Rohit Sharma has denied that he had any kind of meeting with the Chief Coach and Chief Selector for the T20 World Cup.

The T20 World Cup is to be played in West Indies and America from June 1. The list of probable players has to be submitted to the International Cricket Council by May 1. In such a situation, the Indian team for the World Cup will be announced in a few days. The selectors’ meeting for the selection of Team India can be held on 30 April or 1 May.

Rohit, in a conversation with Australian legend Adam Gilchrist and former English captain Michael Vaughan on the Prairie Fire podcast, said, ‘I have not met anyone. Ajit Ajit Agarkar is somewhere in Dubai, playing golf. Rahul Dravid is in Bengaluru and is watching his child play. I was in Mumbai. To be honest, we have not met. Unless you hear me, Rahul Dravid, Ajit or anyone from BCCI coming in front of the camera and talking, it is all nonsense.

Pant can be included in the World Cup team
Former England captain Michael Vaughan asked Rohit Sharma if there is any player whom he would like to keep in the team just for entertainment. On this, Rohit laughed and said that he will definitely keep Rishabh Pant in the team.
