Redmi last year Redmi Note 12 Turbo India has launched a brand new Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone, giving it a major upgrade. The new model which was introduced in China works on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and has Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. The phone has an OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It sports a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main rear camera and draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging. Xiaomi has also introduced the Harry Potter Limited Edition of Redmi Turbo 3 along with the standard model.

At the same time, its 16GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 28,000) and the top-end 16GB + 1TB model is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 32,000). It is currently available for pre-sale in China in Ice Titanium, Green Blade and Mo Jing (Black) color options. The sale of the handset is going to start from April 15.

Specifications of Redmi Turbo 3

The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Turbo 3 runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface and features a 6.7-inch 1.5K (1,220×2,712 pixels) resolution OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, and 2,400 nits peak brightness. It works on the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

The Redmi Turbo 3 sports a dual rear camera unit, consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an f/1.59 aperture. There is a 20-megapixel front camera for selfie and video chat.

Connectivity options on the Redmi Turbo 3 include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, IR remote control, ultrasonic distance sensor, and X-axis linear motor. Additionally, the phone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock feature. The handset also has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and gets an IP64 rated dust and splash-resistant build.

Redmi Turbo 3 packs a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 90W fast charging. It is claimed that the fast charging technology is capable of providing up to 13 hours of video playback time on a single charge. The handset measures 160×74.4×7.8 mm and weighs 179 grams.
