Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is launching devices one after the other in its home market China. In the recently launched Redmi Turbo 3, it has installed Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. According to a report, Redmi may bring another phone in China very soon. This time the focus will be on performance. The device may be named Redmi K70 Ultra, which will be packed with a flagship processor from MediaTek.

An article on Chinese social media platform Weibo tipster Has shared some details of the upcoming Redmi phone. It is claimed that the new Redmi K70 Ultra phone will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ processor. This is an upgraded version of Dimension 9300. Dimensity 9300+ processor can also be installed in Vivo’s upcoming flagship phones.

It is also estimated that Redmi K70 Ultra will have a 50-megapixel main camera sensor, along with which an ultra-wide lens and macro camera will be provided. An OLED display with 1.5K resolution can be provided in the phone. The phone can have up to 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. It can support 120W fast charging, which will quickly fill the 5500 mAh battery.

There is no confirmation yet on the availability of this device outside China. It is possible that Xiaomi may bring this phone in the global market under some other name. Redmi K70 Ultra can be offered with IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis. It is also expected to have an aluminum frame for better durability.

Recently, Digital Chat Station had reported that Redmi K70 Ultra has a 5,500mAh battery which supports 120W fast charging. It will come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. That means it will be one of the most powerful phones of the Redmi brand.
