Addressing journalists on Friday, PM Modi talked about the misuse of artificial intelligence in making deepfake videos and called it a ‘big concern’. of ndtv Report According to , the PM said that he has asked the ChatGPT team to flag deepfakes and issue warnings when such videos are circulated on the internet. The PM said that in the time of Artificial Intelligence, it is important that technology should be used responsibly.

The PM also cited a deepfake video of him, in which he is shown performing Garba. PM said that I recently saw a video in which I am seen singing Garba song. There are many more such videos online. The PM asked the media to educate people on the issue. He had attended BJP’s Diwali Milan program at the party headquarters in Delhi.

The issue of deepfake videos has been in the headlines for the past several days. The deepfake video of actress Rashmika Mandanna has further aggravated this. The video was cropped and was actually of a woman of Indian origin living in Britain.

‘Deepfake’ is a digital method under which, using Artificial Intelligence (AI), users can easily replace the image of a person with the image of someone else. Anyone sitting anywhere in the world can create a deepfake video of anyone and share it online.

After Rashmika Mandanna, deepfake video of actress Kajol is now viral on the internet. In the video clip, a woman with Kajol’s face can be seen changing clothes in front of the camera. This video is deepfake, in which Kajol’s face has been used.
