If you travel through Uber or any other app based taxi service, the bill can be in thousands of rupees, but if we say that the bill is worth crores of rupees, then you will be surprised to know, but it is true. Recently, an Uber customer in Noida got a bill worth crores after traveling in an auto. On Friday, Deepak Tenguriya booked an auto ride through Uber India, the fare of which was only Rs 62. However, when Deepak reached his location, he found a bill of Rs 7.66 crore on the app, even though the driver had not even finished the ride.

The incident came to light when Deepak’s friend Ashish Mishra shared a clip of his ex on Friday. In the video, both are discussing about the huge bill received by Deepak. In the viral video, Deepak is seen repeating the amount written in the Uber bill. When Ashish asked him “How much is your bill, show” Deepak said “Rs 7,66,83,762.”

As soon as he flashed his phone screen on the camera, it could be seen that a charge of Rs 1,67,74,647 was taken from Kiri Deepak as trip fare. While their waiting time charge was Rs 5,99,09189, Rs 75 was deducted as promotion cost. In the video, Deepak can be heard saying that no waiting charge should be included in the bill as the driver did not have to wait for him.

A voice can be heard from behind the camera inquiring about the inclusion of GST charge in the bill. Deepak immediately denied that any GST charges were involved. Deepak can then be heard joking that he has never counted so many zeros in one go before. After that Ashish said that “Even if you had booked Chandrayaan, you would not have had to spend so much on that journey.”

Sharing the clip, Ashish wrote, “Early in the morning @Uber_India made @TenguryaDeepak so rich that he is thinking of taking Uber franchise next time. The good thing is that the trip has not been canceled yet. Become a millionaire borrower instantly by booking an auto for Rs 62.

Soon after the post went viral, the official Uber India customer support page apologized and claimed that they were looking into the matter. It read, “Sorry to hear about the problem.” Please give us some time while we look into this matter for you. We will contact you with updates.
