Madhya Pradesh Student Gets RS 46 Crore Tax Notice, PAN Card was misused

Pramod Kumar Dandotiya (aged about 25 years), resident of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, came to know about this matter when he received Income Tax and GST Received a notice from the department that a firm has been registered through his PAN card. This firm is being run in Delhi and Mumbai. Regarding this, Dandotia said, “I am a college student in Gwalior. After receiving the notice from the Income Tax and GST Department, I came to know that a firm has been registered through my PAN card. This firm has been operating for about three years. being operated in Delhi and Mumbai. I don’t know how my PAN card is being misused and how these transactions have been done.”

After getting information about this matter, Dandotiya had contacted the concerned department. He tried several times to lodge a complaint at the police station but no action was taken. After this, when he went to the office of Additional Superintendent of Police, his complaint was filed. Regarding this, Additional Superintendent of Police of the area, Shiyaz KM said, “A complaint has been received from a youth that transactions worth more than Rs 46 crore have been made from his bank account. The documents in this regard are being examined. This matter PAN card has been misused and a firm has been registered through it. After this, transactions of huge amount have been done.

Cases of scams related to cryptocurrencies are also increasing. In a similar case, a woman in Maharashtra had to suffer a loss of Rs 27 lakh. This woman had clicked an investment related advertisement on Facebook. After this, fraudsters trapped him in the scam of investing in Bitcoin.
