Low-Earth Orbit means the lower orbit of the Earth which is considered to be 400 kilometers above the Earth. Thousands of satellites are present there and are being controlled from the Earth. This place is also full of such satellites, which have become ‘garbage’ and one day or the other will fall or will be brought down to earth. The responsibility of carefully dealing with this space debris is taken by the space agency of every country which sends its missions into space. But is China breaking the rules made for space?

This question has arisen because China is being accused of breaking the rules. In the year 2022, when the booster of a Chinese rocket went out of control and fell on Earth, Bill Nelson, Chief of the American Space Agency NASA, gave a strong reaction. Although there was no loss of life or property due to the fall of the rocket booster, there were indications of dangers for the future.

From The Sun US Conversation Space debris expert Professor John L. Crassidis expressed his concern. He said that debris falling from space can cause problems. He said that satellites and debris orbiting in low-Earth orbit burn up as soon as they enter the atmosphere. He also said that most of the things coming to Earth are dropped in a controlled manner in an uninhabited area in the Pacific Ocean. There is no danger in this.

Crassidis alleged that China was not following the rules. He did not control his Long March 5B rocket stage. Its landing route was not even shared with the big agencies of the world, which creates risk.
