A week before the grand consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, ardent devotees of Lord Ram organized car rallies in 21 cities across the United States. The highlight of these celebrations was a Tesla car music show dedicated to Lord Ram held in the national capital. In the Maryland suburb of Washington DC, specifically at the Sri Bhakta Anjaneya Temple in Frederick City, more than 100 Tesla car owners, who describe themselves as Ram devotees, gathered on Saturday night.

During this time, everyone took advantage of a special feature introduced in Tesla cars in 2022, in which the headlights and speakers synchronize with the music. All Tesla owners used it to synchronize with a popular music dedicated to Lord Rama. Additionally, all Tesla cars were parked in such a way that, when viewed from height, it appeared to be the English word RAM.

NDTV’s According, the Tesla Music Show was organized by Vishva Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA) and more than 200 Tesla car owners had registered for the event. VHPA DC Chapter President Mahendra Sapa expressed his gratitude to the generations of Hindus who struggled for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya over the last 500 years.

Reports suggest that according to Animesh Shukla, one of the volunteer organizers, the Tesla light show marked the beginning of the Ram Mandir inauguration celebrations. VHPA plans to hold a similar light show on January 20. In addition to the Tesla event, VHPA holds car rallies in 21 cities across the US, including Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York and Seattle. The celebrations also extended to the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America putting up large hoardings in more than 10 states, further contributing to the grandeur of the Ram Mandir celebrations in the United States.
