The company further said that 72 percent of people believe that the availability of ride-sharing options has prompted them to reconsider purchasing their personal vehicles. More than 30 percent said the most preferred aspect was the multiple mode mobility offered by Uber. At the same time, 79 percent people also said that they completely or often depend on Uber for their nightlife plans.

Uber has covered more than 40 million kilometers on electric vehicles in India. This is an important milestone in the company’s journey to become a zero emissions platform by 2040.
