The Panigale V4 is powered by the Desmosedici Stradale, a 998cc four-cylinder engine. This is a liquid cooled engine which can give a maximum output of 215bhp at 15,500rpm. It can produce a maximum torque of 111.3Nm at 12000rpm. Its Akrapovic full race exhaust is said to deliver power and peak torque of up to 233bhp at 15,500 rpm and 118Nm at 12,250 rpm respectively.

Due to the exhaust system, the weight of the motorcycle has been reduced by 5 kg. In standard setup it goes up to 172kg but due to the exhaust system it has been reduced to 167kg. The bike has a 6 speed gearbox. Talking about the braking system, it has been provided with 330mm front discs with Brembo Monobloc Stylema M4.30 callipers. There are four piston calipers at the front. Whereas the rear has a 245mm single rotor with 2 piston caliper. It has a twin pod headlight assembly. Has aerodynamic winglets.
