Asteroid coming towards earth: Asteroid continues to come closer to the earth. In the month of February, many major rock disasters threatened our planet. Today i.e. on March 12, two asteroids are coming close to the Earth. The size of one of these is about 350 feet, which is equal to a multi-storey building. NASA JPL (NASA JPL), its name is ‘Asteroid 2015 FM34’.

It is coming towards the Earth at a speed of about 39 thousand 837 kilometers per hour. When it will pass near the Earth, the distance between the two will be 74 lakh 20 thousand kilometers. For this reason it has been considered potentially dangerous for the Earth. However, the asteroid is not likely to hit the Earth. But scientists will monitor it until it goes too far from the planet.

‘Asteroid 2015 FM34’ refers to the Apollo group’s asteroids. These are asteroids that cross the Earth. As the name suggests, this asteroid was discovered in the year 2015.

Another asteroid which is coming closer to the Earth today, its name is Asteroid (2024 EG2). Its size is like an aeroplane. When it comes near our planet, the distance between the two will be 6 lakh 42 thousand kilometers. However, there is no possibility of it colliding with the Earth.
